The MP series of permanent magnet motors includes models with power rating that ranges from 400W to 700W and features motor with smooth casing and power supply cable that leads direct from the motor itself. A particular characteristic of the MP series lies in the fact that the permanent magnets forming the stator are fitted with special "flow concentrators" that protect them from accidental demagnetisation. Therefore, the high demagnetising currents that the motor is capable of withstanding make it especially suitable for duty in those cases, in particular the traction sector, that contemplate the use of SCR electronic speed controllers or even direct powering of the motor using batteries. The entire MP series is supplied as standard with protection to IP20 or IP54 and MEC71 unified flanging. This along with its compliance to the strictest European electrical and electromagnetic regulations has enabled it to obtain the CE mark.
