The DRIVE4 series of permanent magnet servomotors covers a torque range that starts with the 2.7Nm of the D4S right up to the 8Nm of the D4L. It features smooth casing with natural ventilation, 4-pole electric circuit and commutator with high number of segments. The DRIVE4 series is supplied as standard with protection to IP54, MEC71 and MEC80 unified flanging and high-performance tachogenerator. This, along with its compliance to the strictest European electrical and electromagnetic regulations, has enabled it to obtain the CE mark. DRIVE4 series servomotors are characterised by their compact size, excellent dynamic specifications coupled with high continuous torque and extremely uniform motion even at very low RPM. This makes them particularly suitable for direct application on machine tools and NC machines without the need for reduction gears, thus improving general overall performance.
