The ROTOMOT series of permanent magnet motors includes power ratings ranging from the 160W of the R3S right up to the 1100W of the R6L. It is divided into two lines: the first has a motor with smooth casing and natural ventilation known as the R3, whilst the second has motor fitted with high-efficiency heatsink and external self-ventilation known as the R6.
A particular feature of the ROTOMOT series lies in the fact that the permanent magnets of the stator are fitted with special "finned flow concentrators" that protect them from accidental demagnetisation.
Therefore, the high demagnetising currents that the motor is capable of withstanding make it especially suitable for duty in those cases that contemplate the use of SCR electronic speed controllers or even direct powering of the motor using batteries.
The entire ROTOMOT series is supplied as standard with protection to IP54, wiring in terminal block with cable gland and MEC71 and MEC80 unified flanging. This, along with its compliance to the strictest European electrical and electromagnetic regulations, has enabled it to obtain the CE mark. |
